...Why I Blog...

" You will have significant experiences. I hope you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences."

Day 16

Your celebrity crush...

Hey!  I'm more than half way done with this thing!  (Even though I calculated, and had I continued posting everyday from when I started I would already be done...woops. Haha.)

Celebrity crush, eh.....let's just suffice it to say I have a few.  Hahaha.

First of all, Reese Witherspoon.  Now here, my friends, is just plain a classy lady.  She's beautiful, and well composed, and wonderful.  Two thumbs up from moi.

Next up, Megan Fox.  Skank?  Yes.  Hoe bag?  Probably.  One hot bod??  Hells yeah!  Hahaha.  ;)

Now this next one is possibly one of the most beautiful people alive.  Miss Katy Perry.  Her skin is flawless, her features are picturesque, and I could look at her for hours.  (Even though I much prefer her natural brown/black hair to the crazy blue she often sports in music videos.  Lol.)

Beauty.
I get to go with Miss Rachel to meet with the missionaries tonight, and I'm stoked!  :)

Day 15

Your favorite childhood show...

The show that I couldn't get enough of when I was super little was Shining Time Station (a.k.a. Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends).  :)  My mom used to have this little side table that sat in the hallway of our house, and I would take all the stuff off of it and pretend that it was the front desk of Shining Time Station and that I was in charge.  Haha. I seriously loved this show.  I loved it so much that when I first saw Grease when I was older, I was quite miffed that Stacy Jones (played by Didi Conn) had pink hair in the movie (she played Frenchy in Grease).  Haha.  When I was little I also loved Gulla Gulla Island and anything on Nickelodeon or Nick Jr.

During my tween years I became obsessed with shows like Full House, Boy Meets World, Two of a Kind, etc, and anything on Disney Channel.
I'm slightly ashamed to admit this, but yes I did have a slight Mary-Kate and Ashley obsession at one point of my life...like fourth grade to be exact.  Haha.  (I was a fan even before Mary-Kate added the - to Mary-Kate.  Bet you didn't know that little bit of trivia did ya.  Hahaha.  ;) )

Let's just say I'm kind of a TV junkie...haha.

In other news, I'm pleased to announce that my bestie Rachel is getting baptized!!!!
I'm so incredibly excited for her that I can't even stand it!  Anyway, tonight I went over to her house and read scriptures with her, and just let me tell you, it was one of the most amazing spiritual experiences ever.  I seriously cannot even describe it.  It was amazing to sit and witness someone so new to the gospel learn and absorb things.  It was definitely a testimony building experience for me.  :)

Day 14

A TV show you're currently addicted to...

Oh ma gosh.  I love me some gLee!  I know it's crass at times.  I know it's immoral sometimes.  I know I probably shouldn't enjoy it as much as I do, but the point is: I DO.  I love this show!  I find it hilarious, true, and inspiring (in a musical sense).  It's one of the few shows that I feel like I have an emotional connection with many of the characters.  (Creepy?  Probably, but I don't care.  Lol.)  I'm proud to say that I own (legally too!  haha) 95% of the gLee repertoire of music.  Go me.  Haha.  :)

Day 13

Explain a hobby of yours...

Umm, I have lots of random hobbies.  I've already shared my joy of photography and editing it.

I love cooking, baking, etc. (And my waistline shows it...haha.)

I love sports, both playing (even though I'm out of shape and don't do it like I should) and watching (which ends up happening more often than playing (see previous parenthetical reference)).

I enjoy audio design.  (Hehe, thanks Troy!)

I love acting and being on stage.  Knowing I've shared something with an audience full of people absolutely thrills me.

But more than anything, I love music.  It is through music that I have had my most fulfilling and powerful experiences in my life.  In short, music completes me.

Day 12

A photograph of the town you live in...

You gotta love small town Utah.  They all look the same, don't they?  Haha.

This is Main Street down on the far end.

This is the main campus of my JC.  (And I love it here!)  :)

And this is my favorite house in all of hometown.  :)

I'm not entirely sure that this is where I want to live for the all of my adult life, but I have loved growing up here.  I could see myself raising a family here, and could DEFINITELY see myself retiring here.  It's just so good!

Day 11

A photo from high school...

Hahaha. Not gonna lie, I laugh every time I look at this thing.

This, ladies and gentlemen, would be my very first experience with photobooth on a macintosh computer.  :)  Haha.  It was at about 3 in the morning, and we were having much too much fun.  Haha. Love you Crystal and Nicole!  :)

Other pictures I love from high school?  This one here.  Get's me everytime!  It's just too good!

Oh, and this one too.  :)

Contrary to how most people feel, I absolutely LOVED high school. I loved the people, the classes, the teachers, the extra-curricular.  I just loved it.  And I would probably go back and relive all of it without a second thought anytime.  :)

Day 10

A photo of your favorite place to eat.

I know it's somewhat cliche, but I LOVE me some Olive Garden.  :)  Soooo good!  The five cheese ziti is to die for, as is the Chicken Alfredo, and don't forget the salad and bread sticks!

I also love me some Panda Express and P.F. Changs. :)
