...Why I Blog...

" You will have significant experiences. I hope you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences."

Day 15

Your favorite childhood show...

The show that I couldn't get enough of when I was super little was Shining Time Station (a.k.a. Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends).  :)  My mom used to have this little side table that sat in the hallway of our house, and I would take all the stuff off of it and pretend that it was the front desk of Shining Time Station and that I was in charge.  Haha. I seriously loved this show.  I loved it so much that when I first saw Grease when I was older, I was quite miffed that Stacy Jones (played by Didi Conn) had pink hair in the movie (she played Frenchy in Grease).  Haha.  When I was little I also loved Gulla Gulla Island and anything on Nickelodeon or Nick Jr.

During my tween years I became obsessed with shows like Full House, Boy Meets World, Two of a Kind, etc, and anything on Disney Channel.
I'm slightly ashamed to admit this, but yes I did have a slight Mary-Kate and Ashley obsession at one point of my life...like fourth grade to be exact.  Haha.  (I was a fan even before Mary-Kate added the - to Mary-Kate.  Bet you didn't know that little bit of trivia did ya.  Hahaha.  ;) )

Let's just say I'm kind of a TV junkie...haha.

In other news, I'm pleased to announce that my bestie Rachel is getting baptized!!!!
I'm so incredibly excited for her that I can't even stand it!  Anyway, tonight I went over to her house and read scriptures with her, and just let me tell you, it was one of the most amazing spiritual experiences ever.  I seriously cannot even describe it.  It was amazing to sit and witness someone so new to the gospel learn and absorb things.  It was definitely a testimony building experience for me.  :)
