...Why I Blog...

" You will have significant experiences. I hope you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences."

Yummy!

The Greek Festival was EVERYTHING I could have ever hoped it to be.  :)  I ended up going twice (no complaints here!  Well....I'll complain when I look at the scale tomorrow...yikes!), on Friday at around 7:30 pm, and again on Saturday at 12:30.  Even though the food is wonderful, the best part really is being able to spend time with really good friends in such a fun, exciting, ethnic atmosphere.  Friday night I got to go with good friends Meg, Paul, and Kim.  We had a great time, and I really enjoyed the live greek band that was playing while people danced.  Saturday I went with my Fa'ah the Beast, V2, and Carrie.  We had the BEST baklava ice cream ever, and then got to go on a tour of the Greek Orthodox Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, and I actually found it very interesting.  I'm pretty excited for it to come again next year!

Kody did really well at the Stockshow, with one of his lambs receiving a Blue Ribbon and selling really well at the Auction.  He's excited to get his lambs ready to show at the State Fair in September, and I'm sure he'll do great!
