...Why I Blog...

" You will have significant experiences. I hope you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences."

Oh, hello. And you are?

Dude!  My life is running away from me so quickly that there is no way I will ever catch up!  Or will I?  Ugh...I sure hope I do.  Seriously though people, my car is disgusting and has needed to be cleaned for months, my bedroom is a complete disaster area, and it is all driving me absolutely insane!!!  I work almost everyday at the wingy, and whenever my dad is around and I'm not at Winger's we're working on the house (in case you're wondering why there haven't really been update posts about that, it's because we're not really any farther along...there was a minor setback where we had to move the location down the street a bit, so we had to move the sewer and electrical connection and stuff, but we're back on track now and should pour footings by the end of the week.), and on top of that National Radio Broadcast competition is next week, and I'm starting to get a little nervous about it.  I just want Shae and I to do an awesome job while we're there...

I feel like so much has happened lately that I haven't really posted a thing about!  One of my besties, Whitney, (who has promised me that she will start a blog in the near future...) got married recently.  The Saturday before her wedding Meg, Fa'ah, and I took her to dinner at a way nice restaurant and then seriously stayed up until almost five in the morning talking (poor Whit had to work at eight...haha).  It was one of the best nights EVER.  It was so nice and refreshing to sit and talk with your friends and to realize the importance they hold in your life.  Friendship is so amazing people, don't ever take it for granted, even if it only exists in the smallest, quirkiest way.  The day of Whit's wedding was actually a little hard for me, because a couple of months ago she had invited me that she wanted me to get ready and go through the temple around the same time as her so that I could go to her sealing.  In short, I was completely flattered, because that just meant soooo much to me...unfortunately now I will always regret that I didn't do the things I new I should have to be able to be there and share that special time with her.  At the reception, (which was absolutely breathtakingly gorgeous btw) she gave me the sweetest letter ever that means more to me now than she will ever know.  I seriously love this girl so much, she is the best friend anyone could ask for!  She and her new husband are the most amazing people ever, and luckily I'm in OChem with him this next year, so hopefully I have a chance of passing.... ;)

My good friend Bre also got married recently, and her reception was absolutely beautiful. They had it in their yard, and I kid you not, these people have the most amazing yard ever.  It was beautiful beyond description.  So amazing.

Tomorrow I am going to seriously tackle the problem that is my bedroom.  I am then going to practice for Nationals with Shae, and then if I can go up to Provo for dinner and a movie (Tucano's anyone!?) with Meg and my Fa'ah the Beast.  :)

After writing this post that started out a little whiny, I've realized how completely blessed I am.  I am surrounded everyday by people who I love and who love me...at home, work, school, and play, I am soooo blessed.  I love it, and I love my life.
:)

Kelt, I love your blog! I want you to know that I really value your friendship. You really are a wonderful guy. Don't worry, we'll do fine at Nationals. (even though I am REALLY freaking out) We just have to work hard and we'll do our best. Love you man!
